About a year and a half ago, I retired. As a retirement gift, my sweet Neal bought me a Cricut. I was a little apprehensive about how to get started, so I started with some simple vinyl cutting projects. Maybe these projects will inspire you to get cutting!
Personalize insulated cups for presents:
Love adding monograms . . . can you tell? 😉
Yoga quote for Bekah: I bend so I don’t break
For our artist son Ryan: ART = LIFE Nurse quote for our daughter Emmy: Nursing is a work of HeartAnd a leadership quote: Leaders Inquire, Desire, and Inspire.
Add a Welcome sign on our milk can:
Add a car decal:
(I think I need to wash my car! 🚙🤦♀️)
I made this for Emmy’s car. 👩🏼⚕️
Personalize your mailbox
Personalize dog and cat food containers:
We had two dogs and a cat, but have since lost Ladybug. 😢 However, our daughter’s dog Izzy eats the same food, so having three containers still works for us!
With multiple pets, I also label the spine of each container for quick identification on our pantry shelf.
Label kitchen ingredients (especially when they look alike!):
Add some color to a cheap soap dispenser in my craft room:
I bought this soap dispenser for about $2.00 at Walmart. It is perfect for my girly craft room!
Personalize soap pumps for our camper:
One for the bathroom and one for our kitchen sink.
Label Laundry Baskets:
Label Crafts and Supplies:
Label Jewelry (or other storage containers):
Personalize Journals or Notebooks:
Friendly Reminders Around the House:
This was actually my first Cricut project.
